Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park

This statue is located in Bukit Ungasan - Bali Jimbaran. A Masterpiece of Balinese I Nyoman Nuarta. Currently developed as a cultural park and a Landmark for tourism in Bali and Indonesia.
It is devoted to the Hindu god Vishnu, and his mount, Garuda, the mythical bird who is his companion. Taken from the story "Garuda and Empire" in which an act of devotion and sacrifice of the Garuda bird to save his mother from slavery finally protected by the god Vishnu.
The statue was built with a height of 140 meters, is projected to bind tat space with visibility up to 20 km so that it can be seen from Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua up to Tanah Lot. Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is a symbol of environmental rescue mission and the world.
